Yihao Zhang is a 12-year-old boy who began his musical journey at age 6. He is currently studying with Mr. David Tutt at the MacEwan University Conservatory of Music. Yihao has participated in numerous competitions and music festivals, including the Edmonton Music & Speech Arts Festival, Alberta Provincial Music Festival, Canada West Performing Arts Festival, RCM Music Lights The Way Festival, and Canadian Music Competition. Additionally, he has received multiple scholarships from both competitions and the MacEwan conservatory. Outside of music, he loves to read, play basketball, badminton and video games.

Seventeen-year-old pianist Adam Wenzel is a grade 12 student at M.E. Lazerte High School. His musical journey began at the age of 5, but took off at the age of 9 when he began studying with Cameron Watson. Adam is a regular participant in various local and provincial festivals, as well as recently being invited to participate in the Canada West Performing Arts Festival. Among his accolades are the Winspear  Fund Scholarship for Advanced Classical Music, the Shean Memorial Scholarships, and

numerous MacEwan conservatory and local festival scholarships, as well as being a previous winner of the Northern Alberta Concerto Competition.

Adam’s love for music extends into his school life, where he plays trombone, French horn, tuba, and piano in various ensembles. His work ethic and leadership skills also translated to the football field, where he led his school team to a city championship appearance as their quarterback.
